my Story

I’m Ren, the face behind The Every Day Gallery. I'm also an artist and founder of Dark Peak Design, (that makes functional sculpture out of Jesmonite), and Saint Ivy (a clothing brand).

I live in a small town in the UK. Mud and drizzle are part of the charm.

People call me a “perpetual art student.” I don’t argue. Once, someone asked if my paint-splattered overalls were Balenciaga. They were not.
I spend my days thinking about colour, texture, and whether shoes will survive a walk in the rain. I write about this stuff sometimes. I photograph it occasionally. Mostly, I just do it.

Trends bore me. Observation doesn’t. I’m interested in quiet experiments, small rebellions, things that accumulate.

This is a space for noticing. For trying things. For acknowledging that style, creativity, and life rarely arrive neatly packaged.
